Bumrah takes leave from BCCI to prepare for marriage
Indian star pacer Jaspreet Bumrah has been ruled out of the crucial fourth and final Test of the series against England for personal reasons.
The right-arm pacer was also rested from the previously announced T20 series squad against England. This time there is a hint of Jaspreet Bumrah’s absence in the ODI series as well.
However, the Indian media ANI says that the Indian star cricketer is going to get married. The right-arm pacer has taken leave to prepare for it.
“Jaspreet Bumrah is getting married soon and is on leave to prepare for it,” ANI quoted a BCCI official as saying.
To reach the final of the ICC World Test Championship against New Zealand at Lord’s, Kohli will have to win or at least draw the last Test of the four-match series in Ahmedabad.
Hosts India will not get the best fast bowler in such an important match. Instead of Jaspreet Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj or Umesh Yadav could be seen in the Indian squad for the final Test.
