High-Speed Bluetooth 5.0 technology to compete with WiFi sharing
With the advent of WiFi-based sharing apps, many have taken the days of Bluetooth for granted. The new news for them is that high-speed Bluetooth technology is going to come to compete with WiFi sharing.
Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) has announced the release of this new version of Bluetooth. This new technology will bring dramatic changes in the sharing of desktops, laptops, headphones, and even mobile phones.
Not only that, the Bluetooth range is increasing with the speed of data transfer. Compared to the previous versions, the data transfer speed of Bluetooth 5.0 has been increased by 600 percent.
This new version consumes much less battery in the case of rechargeable devices. The technology could hit the market later this year or early next year.
