The benefits of drinking coffee have not diminished. Many people have rejected caffeine. Again, many claims that caffeine is a good ingredient for the body.

According to a recent study, if one drinks three to five cups of coffee a day, the risk of water accumulation in their arteries (clogged arteries) and heart attack is reduced. This information was given by the Indian website NDTV quoting the Heart Journal.

A team of international researchers conducted the study at Kambuk Samsung Hospital in South Korea. The researchers looked at the link between coffee and coronary artery calcium (CAC). Coronary artery calcium (CAC) can cause arteries to become stiff and narrow, and even high blood pressure can lead to heart attacks and strokes.

The study was conducted by dividing 138 men and women into different groups. Most of the participants were around 41 years old. Those who do not drink coffee at all are also included in the study. However, the study considered factors such as age, gender, smoking measure, alcohol status, overweight, diabetes, and hypertension.

The study categorized those who drank not a single cup of coffee a day, drank one to three cups of coffee, drank three to five cups a day, and drank at least five cups a day.

The results showed that those who drank less than one cup of coffee per day had a CAC ratio of 0.6 in their blood, those who drank three cups of coffee had a CAC ratio of 0.6, and those who drank three to five cups of coffee had a CAC ratio. 0.59. For those who drink more coffee, their CAC ratio is 0.61.

Analyzing the results, the researchers said that drinking too much coffee could put health at risk. As drinking more coffee increases the CAC ratio. And this CAC is a kind of calcium, if it settles in the arteries, it can cause heart and brain problems.

The researchers also found that coffee increased the risk of CVD or cardiovascular disease. Many studies have shown that high cholesterol and high blood pressure can be caused by drinking coffee. Recent studies have also shown that drinking coffee works to prevent various heart diseases, keeping the heart strong.

Therefore, researchers have not yet come to a final conclusion about how good and how bad coffee is for the body. Therefore the subject demands further research.
