Chinese scientists have invented a powerful robot to stop rioters.
This robot will hit the rioters with an electric shock. Named ‘Intelligent Security Robot’, this robot has been created for the first time. It has an ‘electrically charged riot control tool’ and an ‘SOS’ button to alert the police, which the public will use. Sky News.
According to the news, the robot can operate itself automatically and it uses ‘onboard camera to understand any situation. The 1.5-meter-long and 8-kilogram robot were on display at the Kong king Hi-Tech Fair. The robot has a top speed of 11 miles per hour and once fully charged it can operate for up to eight hours.
The robot was made by the National Defense University of China. It has some sensors that can mimic the human brain, eyes, and ears.
Some Twitter users have compared the device to scary robots in science fiction movies and television series.
Expressing his opinion, one of them said that this Chinese robot is similar to the robot ‘ED-209’ from the movie ‘Robocop’ released in 1986.
