The incident took place in New Delhi, the capital of India. Delhi Police official Vijayant Arya said the accused engineer’s name was Kisan. She was arrested on charges of rape under sections 36 and 7 of the Indian Penal Code.
The tortured teacher told the police that she met Kisan on Facebook in October 2016. Since then the two have been talking. The man took her to a guest house in Adarsh Nagar and raped her in the name of meeting her one day.
The teacher further said that the accused engineer also promised her marriage. But day after day, the wedding date is delayed on various excuses. He may find out one day, the video has been uploaded to Instagram.
Upon learning this, he requested that the videos be deleted. But the accused did not keep his request. Nirupaya later complained to the police. The police searched the accused’s phone and found out that the accused Kisan had uploaded the video through a fake account.
