How to verify a freelancer account.
Many people constantly post and want to know how to verify a freelancer account. And without any hassle. So let’s get started. There will be a request. Please read the post carefully before you leave a message or comment.
Keep some things in mind.
Do not verify while two IDs are logged in during verification.
Before verifying, do not login to the new ID that is logged in the current PC.
Before verifying, check each step well and go to the next step.
Step 01.
First, go to Dashboard from the. Settings
Enter all the information of your National ID Card / Driving License Card / Passport in the profile details in a completely correct manner. Cannot change the first name, last name, address, city, zip/postcode, state/province, or country. Because the country in which you are staying is selected as soon as the account is created.
Step 02.
Then go to Identity Verification. If you go to the verification center to see what will be needed to verify the ID. But I am writing down what will be required for ID verification.
Proof Of Your Identity.
In order to verify the ID, you must have government-approved documents. The following are some of the documents that can be used for ID verification:
- Passport
- Driving license
- National ID card (smart ID card of course)
- Any other ID card but must be approved by the government. Note that this card must have your name, photo, date of birth, and your signature. Otherwise, there will be no verification.

Keycode Verification.
You will be given a unique keycode from a freelancer. You have to take a nice picture by writing or printing the code in a white notebook. Pick up two documents with both hands. Kikode in one hand and National ID card/driving license card/passport in the other hand.
Proof of Address.
Then you need to verify your address. You must submit documents that include your full name and address and the name, address and phone number of the issuing authority must be clearly visible. The following documents can be submitted:
- Bank Statement (Issued within last 3 months)
- Utility bill (issued in last 3 months)
- Residence ID / Permit
Any other documents but must be approved by the government. Note that these documents must include your name, photo, date of birth, and your signature.
Step 03
Clicking on Verify My Identity will take you to the next step. From here you have to select the country. You have to select the country in which you live from the box. Then press the Next button.
Step 04.
After selecting the country will take you to the next step. After coming to the customer information, write the same name and date of birth as per the name given in your national ID card/driving license/passport. Then click on the Next button.
Step 05
After coming to the next step, you have to select the name of the country where the card was issued. If you think that if my ID card is issued from Bangladesh then I will definitely select Bangladesh. After selecting the country, open another box on the right side and select one of the types of your card such as passport/voter ID card / armed force card/driving license / national ID card. Then enter the ID number in the box below, then enter the expiry date of your card and take a picture of the front part and back part of the card that you have. Pick up the image of the front part in the front part box and the back part in the back part box, then click the Save and next button. If you do not understand, see the image below.
Step 06.
Kikode will give you a unique code from the freelancer when it comes to verification. You can print that code or write a picture in a white notebook just like the picture below.
This way you will upload the picture and then click on the Next button.
Step 07.
Now you need to give your full address. Be sure to provide the address that contains your bank statement and National ID Card / Driving License Card / Passport. Giving another address can cancel the verification.
Step 08.
In the next step, you have to give proof of the address given. Give the documents information now. Select the type of document if bank statement, utility bill, residence ID/permit are any other documents but must be approved by the government. Note that these documents must include your name, photo, date of birth, and your signature. Select that document. Name of the institution. This means writing the name of any company or from where you got all these documents. For example: Bangladesh Bank. Then write the date of the issue and click on the Next button and again on the Save Next button.
Step 09.
Review the information you have given for so long 2-3 times from the beginning. If you find any mistake, you can edit it by clicking the edit button. Then click on the submit for review button and submit.
Step 10.
Ask to form again before submitting. If all is well then click on confirm button. If there is any mistake, you have to edit and resubmit. After pressing the confirm button, you will see a message like this on your dashboard.
