The asteroid is 15 to 30 meters wide. An asteroid of this shape crashed in Chelyabinsk, Russia in 2013. As a result, the windows of thousands of houses were shattered and more than a thousand people were injured.
Mike Kelly’s job at NASA is to detect rocks in space. He said they have been monitoring the TC-4 asteroid for two months. This is not a threat to the world. It will not even pose a threat to artificial satellites. Depending on the Earth, it will pass over the southern part of Australia.
Hoodiga Jane of the European Space Agency’s “Near-Earth Object” project in the Netherlands said scientists identified the asteroid TC-4 as it passed through the Earth five years ago. It will cross Earth again on Thursday in space.
By calculating the movement of the asteroid, the scientists have found out that this asteroid will come back again in 2050. It will not pose a threat to the service world either. However, in 2069, it may cause some danger.
