Suraj Randiv, who once played for the Sri Lankan national cricket team in the Cricket World Cup and won the IPL against Chennai Super Kings in 2011, has now gone from cricketer to driver.

He started his new job in Australia. He joined a French company based in Melbourne as a bus driver. Former Sri Lankan spinner Suraj Randiv moved to Australia in 2019, where he now plays cricket for a local club in addition to being a bus driver.

Suraj Randiv has represented Sri Lanka in cricket in all three formats. He was also a member of the Sri Lankan team at the 2011 World Cup in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and India. He has taken 48 wickets in 12 Tests for Sri Lanka.

He has also taken 38 wickets in 31 ODIs and 6 wickets in 8 T20s. Randiv’s highest score in international cricket is 57. He played his last domestic match in April 2019.

Suraj Randiv, 36, not only drives a bus in Australia but also plays cricket on the local circuit. When the Indian team was on a tour of Australia, he also practiced for the Australian team in the MCG as his own spin.

Randiv currently plays for Dandenong Cricket Club in Australia. The club is accredited by Victoria Premier Cricket. Cricket also competes at the state level in Australia. Apart from Randeep, stars like James Pattison and Peter Siddle also play for this club.

The Sri Lankan spinner, who is a bus driver in Australia, has also played in India’s T20 League IPL. In this league, he was a member of the CSK team led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He also helped the franchise to become a champion in 2012.

Randiv took 6 wickets in 6 matches while playing for CSK in 2012. In Indian cricket, Suraj Randiv is best known for his no-ball that prevented Virender Sehwag, who batted for 99, from scoring a century.
