What to do to prevent the laptop from overheating

In the case of computers, laptops are now the choice of almost everyone instead of desktops. The special reason for this choice is the portability of the laptop and the convenience of battery backup.

Laptops have a very small range of computer motherboards, processors, RAM, hard disks and everything else. That’s why it’s normal for the laptop to get a little hot while working. But in many cases, it is seen that the laptop gets so hot that it seems that the eggs can be fried on the laptop.

When it gets too hot, the performance of the laptop decreases. So keep a few things in mind to prevent the laptop from overheating.

Let’s see what can be done to prevent the laptop from overheating…

Never use a laptop on a bed or pillow. Placing the laptop on a soft surface does not cause heat radiation. As a result, hot air is created in the chamber of the laptop very quickly and it becomes excessively hot. So do not use a laptop with a pillow, bed, or even on your lap.

In a room where there is no AC and the doors and windows are closed, it is normal for the laptop to overheat. So if there is no AC, the windows must be kept open so that air can circulate.

Select ‘Power and Sleep Settings’ in the battery icon of the laptop’s status bar. Scroll to Additional Power Settings. Now click on Change Plan Settings. Then select Change Advanced Power Settings. Scroll down to Processor Power Management. Now select Maximum Processor State. Decrease the percentage there from 70% to 80%.

Can use laptop cooler. They come with a fan which does not allow the temperature to rise much with the air on the bottom of the laptop. As a result, if you keep the laptop on the laptop cooler and use it, the laptop will be less hot.

Always try to keep the ventilators on the back and side of the laptop for ventilation clean. This will keep the cooling fan inside your laptop dust-free and work properly.
