Windows 10 program not running?
Software used in Windows 7 or 8 does not run much longer in Windows 10. This program doesn’t run on Windows 10
Shows the message.
Sometimes this software also shows the message that it is not suitable for your operating system. There is nothing to worry about. Windows 10 has the right solution.
Which must be done
First, you need to make sure that your computer’s operating system is up to date. Then see if all the driver software is installed. And of course if the program you are running has been updated.
Turn on admin mode
Select the Run as administrator by right-clicking on the executable file (.exe file) of the program or software that is not running on the hard drive’s C drive. If there is no other problem with that program, it will run smoothly. If not, follow the next step.
Compatibility mode on
Programs used in the previous Windows so that the next Windows can run without any problems. That’s why Microsoft has put compatibility mode facility for all subsequent versions from their Windows XP.
Now go to the C drive that the program is not running and click the right mouse button on the executable file (.exe) of the original file of that program. Click on Properties from the menu here.
Check the Run this program in compatibility mode under Compatibility mode on the Compatibility tab. Select Windows 8 or Windows 7 from the dropdown list. Apply and come out OK. Now double click on that program again to try it. The work will be done.
Compatibility Troubleshooter
Such programs can also be launched using the Compatibility Troubleshooter. Open Troubleshoot compatibility by right-clicking on the .exe file of the problematic program on the C drive where the program is installed as before.
It will take some time to identify the problem. Then follow the next steps one by one to start the non-running program
